Core180 Launches Carrier Connect Program

Core180, a leading telecommunications network integrator and pioneer of the Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) model, has launched a new Carrier Connect program that will enable both domestic and international carriers to integrate networks quickly and seamlessly on a worldwide basis.

The NaaS-based program makes it easy for carriers to increase sales opportunities outside of their traditional markets, according to the company. Core180 execs say members can leverage the program to expand their footprint while reducing upfront capital investment and decreasing the need for additional employees to administer remote facilities and service providers.

“Companies are drastically changing the way they conduct business globally and networks need to keep up with this change,” says David Baule, CEO of Core180. “The Carrier Connect program helps carriers buy, deploy and manage network services in days or weeks, instead of the typical months, in order to keep up with these changing business demands.”

The Core180 program is “carrier agnostic” (not aligned with one specific carrier) so service providers can buy the best service for their needs at the best prices.  Members of the program have the ability to purchase bandwidth from Core180 at discounted rates which include enhanced circuit management and monitoring capabilities. They can also purchase the capacity directly from another member carrier, with Core180 facilitating the procurement process by making introductions and providing both parties the right points of contact within each organization.

"PacketExchange is delighted to join Carrier Connect as a charter member," says Chuck Stormon CMO and VP for PacketExchange. "As a provider of International Ethernet service, we see Carrier Connect as an opportunity to offer customers end-to-end solutions in seamless collaboration with other regional and International carriers."

Core180 provides international network hubs in Los Angeles, New York and Miami and can assist with cross connects at the facilities.
